induces a deeper and faster exploitation of natural, energetic
and alimentary resources of our planet.
In this contest the State Forestry Corps carries on a security
action in defence of the values of biological, alimentary, territo-
rial and landscape diversity, particularly in areas of great value,
such as National Parks and nature Reserves. These biodiversity
containers are protected in order to preserve unique sceneries
and territories and to guarantee salubriousness and products of
excellence. Biological diversity is also “diversity at table”.
The Focus in Silvae magazine includes articles by experts and
entrepreneurs in the field, which stress the ensemble of econom-
ical, technical, environmental, alimentary, ethical and cultural
values, that outline our landscape, coming out from work and
from the Italian skill to “produce good”.
We have to be mindful of these unique goods, a gift by the Uni-
verse, protected by the Constitution, so to enhance, to defend
and to transmit their fruits at best to future generations, as an
example of learning and excellence.
