sort of Stock Exchange is managed and is under the legal responsibility of
ISPRA.

Are you aware of the economic flow value that this sort of Stock
Exchange has in the Country? Since 2012 it has generated financial resources
above 1.4 billion Euros.

In 2015 the flow that was granted to Italy was 529 million Euros. Under
the supervision of Banca d’Italia and of Guardia di Finanza (Customs) ISPRA
manages and is responsible for these funds. Let us continue with the invasive
species. How is this carried out? Through its traditions deriving from ANPA
and through innovation.

Earlier we mentioned soil consumption. The report about soil consum-
ption is published every year; the 2016 will be soon released, in cooperation
with the Agencies using innovation and satellite information.

I would very much like to understand whether environmental data and
information are part of the public domain. It would be interesting to discuss
this topic from the information point of view. These data are free, accessible,
shared.

If not carried out with competence, knowledge of the processes and of
the phenomena, environmental monitoring may be misleading and even dan-
gerous and may end up confusing people’s ideas.

Therefore, I believe that one of our internal tasks, for our benefit and for
our environmental control systems, for all the other environmental control
systems in general such a NOE (Ecologic Operative Unit within the Carabinieri
Corps), Guardia di Finanza (Customs), State Forestry Department. All these
Forces should be put in the conditions to use the latest technological innova-
tion so all our work will be more effective and precise.

So, my speech was originally oriented on the satellite topic and I would
have also mentioned the high competitiveness of our Country.

I would have spoken also an Italian representative of the EU Programme
“Copernicus”. What does this programme exactly do? What are the services it
provides? It provides satellite services and support the platform of the
Kosmokeymed constellation which deserves to be fully used in the control
system. However, this is not happening yet.
