tonne of CO2 not released into the environment. This kind of issue is handled
by the Agency System of ISPRA as this was not previously a chord which
would make the system vibrate. The whole process led ISPRA and the Register
of Alien Species to the signing of a memorandum within external Bodies on
the Convention for Biological Biodiversity exactly one week ago in Montreal.
As a result, ISPRA is now committed to carry on with the Register and the
Database of harmful, alien and invasive species.
All the species which are out of their natural habitat or, if you want, out
of their environment, are classified as alien. They are classified as invasive
when they become harmful: this phenomenon involves 145 Countries. This is
something that has entered the system, also with ISPRA, together with some
Agencies.
Not all agencies, as we noticed, do the same thing. Together with this regi-
ster, ISPRA also keeps the Register of emissions and a system for the calcula-
tion of the value of forests in terms of the reduction of emissions, what we
mentioned earlier with the 6.00 Euro per tonne of CO2. That is the market
value, of that market, and is called ETS, whose Register and the running of that
