Creta, inizio Novecento. Nell’immagine si nota la struttura della banda che, pur non essendo ancora quella definitiva, si può
apprezzare per il numero degli orchestrali e i differenti strumenti musicali che compongono il complesso. Tra i militari, si notano due
sottufficiali dei Carabinieri, dei quali quello all’estrema sinistra imbraccia uno strumento musicale. Sulla spalla del militare si può
notare il simbolo dei musicanti, titolo attribuito all’epoca ai componenti della Banda e delle fanfare.
