University's Kennedy School of Government. From 2009 to 2011, he was Marie Curie Fellow at the
James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, Monterey Institute of International Studies,
California. His research focuses on international relations, security studies, arms control and
nonproliferation. He has extensively published on those issues. He also worked with the United
Nations in Russia, Kosovo and Afghanistan. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the
University of Bologna (Italy), a Masters of International Relations from the University of Sussex
(UK), and a PhD in International Relations from the University of Catania (Italy).
