 This is the central organization
from where the Commander General of the Carabinieri Force
manages, coordinates and controls the activities of the Force
with particular emphasis on the following:
- analysis of crimes and coordinates the operations among its
departments;
- liaison with Ministries, Public Administration Departments and
when required with international organizations, however, depending
on its functions by the Ministry of Interior. Decision making is
concentrated on the Force Commander General and the Chief of
Staff.
