A delegation of the African Union, composed of Colonel Christophe
TOUKO, Colonel Jean Baptiste TINE and CSP Sayibu GARIBA, visited
the Center of Excellence for Stability Police Units in Vicenza.
Purpose of the visit was to promote the relationship and enhance
cooperation with CoESPU. Additionally the delegation developed with
the help of the CoESPU staff a training curricula for the Africa
Union Formed Police Units (AU-FPU).
During the stay, the delegation toured the training area, the gym
facilities, the shooting range and FATS. The event allowed CoESPU
the opportunity to show the high standards in the training
facilities and in the logistic capability as well.The members of
the delegation expressed words of appreciation for Carabinieri
Corps and their satisfaction for the activities performed at CoESPU
and emphasized great interest in implementing the FPU standards in
the AU framework.
