Interchange of didactical
activities
Sanremo(IM), April 11th,

 On 11 April, Capt.
Pierpaolo Sinconi, Chief of the International Affaires Office
at CoESPU recently developed a didactical cooperation with
the International Institute of Humanitarian Law of Sanremo,
Italy by providing a lecture on Refugee Law. The point of the
lecture was to explain to the attendees the role and functions
of the police component in Peace Support
Operations.Additionally, he provided a module on 18 April in
Rome to the students and faculty of the University La
Sapienza, on Human Rights and Development Strategies. Captain
Sinconi explained the different aspects related to the use of
force starting from the "Jus ad bellum" and moving to the
principles of "Jus in bello". He concluded with the standards
and norms regulating the use of force by peacekeepers in peace
support operations. |
