On the 24 March 2011, a Royal Thailand Embassy delegation visited
CoESPU. The delegation was led by Somsakdi Suriyawongse, Ambassador
of the Kingdom of Thailand; Cap. Vasinsan Chantavarin,
Political-Military Officer; Ms. Penprapa Vongkovit,
Political-Military Counselor; Dr. Andrea Marcon, Hononary Counsul
of the Thailand Kingdom in Venice. After a briefing presented by
the Director of CoESPU, a walking tour was conducted of the
Centre.
The representatives visited the Firearms Training Simulator and the
indoor firing range as well as the electronic classrooms. The
delegates expressed their satisfaction with and appreciation for
COESPU peacekeeping training efforts while expressing their
interest in participating in future CoESPU's
courses.
