4th COURSE OF THE CONTRAST
ASYMMETRICAL THREAT

The closing Ceremony of the 4th course on "Contrast Asymmetrical
Threat" took place at the Center of Excellence for Stability Police
Units (CoESPU).
The 27 attendees from: Algeria, Djibouti, Jordan, Malta, Morocco,
Mozambique, Quatar, Romania, Senegal, United States, Turkey,
Ukraine and Italy, received lessons on Asymmetric Threat, counter
terrorism and tactics and procedures.
The rapid and constant changes of the security environment, have
greatly affected the international security framework; moreover the
spreading of asymmetric threats require the international community
to cope with new scenarios and challenges and a greater
understanding of the phenomenon in order to provide a safe and
secure environment as well a sustainable peace in destabilized and,
sometime, even hostile scenarios.
The lessons provided in English, were conducted by Carabinieri
Officers and experts cooperating with the Centre.
The course ended with an open discussion applying the principles
explained during the theoretical lessons.
During the closing ceremony, the Director, Brigadier General
Umberto ROCCA, presented certificates of
completion. |
