The closing ceremony of the 23rd Middle Management - High Level
Course took place at the Center of Excellence for Stability Police
Units (CoESPU).
The specific course has been conducted in French language with the
external contribution of several instructors among them: Mr. Pierre
Germeil and Mr. Eric Damm (U.S.A.), the Police Commissioner Victor
Hernandez (Uruguay), Ltc Ousmane Ndior (Senegal), Maj Philippe
Moreux (France), Mrs Maria Jessop (U.S.A.) and Ms Alison Milofsky
(U.S.A.).
Participants from Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Egypt, Jordan,
Indonesia, Mali, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Romania, Senegal, Serbia
and Ukraine were represented. Additionally for the first time
participants from Bangladesh, Togo and the United States
participated. During their attendance the trainees received
specific training, theoretical and practical, in order to the
develop an individual, as well as unit capability in supporting
U.N. Peacekeeping Operations and Police Interventions.
In addition to the Director, Brigadier General Umberto ROCCA, have
attended the ceremony at Chinotto Barracks Headquarters in Vicenza
the Mobile and Specialized Carabinieri Units Commander, Lieutenant
General Emilio Borghini, the US Consul General representative from
Milan, Ms. Sonia Tarantolo, and several CoESPU's lecturers and
external contributors.
The ceremony was concluded after diplomas were given to the
attendees.
