3rd Course of the contrast
asymmetrical threat.

The closing Ceremony of the 3rd course of the "Contrast
Asymmetrical Threat" took place at the Center of Excellence for
Stability Police Units (CoESPU). The attendees, 24 Police Officers
coming from several Countries, in particular: Bahraini, Brazil,
Jordan, Morocco, Nigeria, United States, Ukraine and Italy, have
followed several lesson about Asymmetric Threat, counter terrorism
and tactics and procedures.
The rapid and strong changes of the security environment, the
globalization as well the IT revolution, have deeply affected the
international security framework; moreover the spreading of
asymmetric threats bring the international community to cope with
new scenarios and challenges requiring an in depth understanding of
the phenomenon in order to provide a safe and secure environment as
well a sustainable peace in destabilized and, sometime, even
hostile scenarios.
The lessons, in English language, have been conducted by
Carabinieri Officers and experts cooperating with the Centre. The
course ended with an open discussion applying the principles
explained during the theoretical lessons.During the closing
ceremony, the Director, Brigadier General Umberto ROCCA, delivered
the certificates of
completion. |
