The Prefect of Vicenza visited the
Co.ESPU.

The Prefect of Vicenza, Dr. Melchiorre FALLICA, visited the Center
of Excellence for Stability Police Units (CoESPU) in Vicenza. The
Centre, hosted in the historical "Generale Chinotto" compound
provides the training for the International Stabilization Police
Forces of several foreign countries, in order to be deployed in
peacekeeping operations. In the occasion the CoESPU's Director,
General Umberto Rocca, has explained the main activities conducted
in the training framework as well the acquainted result, following
the G8 See Island action plan and agreement.
Actually, the Centre, is now not only a training pole but also a
doctrinal hub as well an interesting cross experiences facilitator
in sharing of the lesson learned in the field of Peace Support
Operations subject, General Rocca
said. |
