Colonel (USMC) Mark D. Franklin, has been appointed as new CoESPU’s Deputy Director.
He has replaced Colonel USA Charles Bradley Jr..
Colonel Franklin was born in Chicago and is 48 years old. He was commissioned a Second Lieutenant aboard USS CONSTITUTION in May 1983. He has held many key positions, last one as Director of the SECNAVCORB and avails himself of a long experience both in the US and abroad.
Colonel Franklin’s personal decorations include a “Legion at Merit”, two “Defense Meritorious Service Medals”, a “Meritorious Service Medal” and three “Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medals”.
The Deputy Director will be in charge of coordinating the activities of the Chairs and the CoESPU’s Bulletin and Library.
