The 1st Course for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage, sponsored by the UNESCO, has been concluded at the CoESPU.

The 1st Course for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage In the presence of the Commander of the Carabinieri's Headquarters for Mobile and Specialized Units, Lieutenant General Emilio Borghini, the CoESPU Director, Brigadier General Umberto Rocca, some representatives from the UNESCO and the Carabinieri Headquarters for the Cultural Heritage, the 1st Course for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage has been concluded with a ceremony held in the CoESPU main classroom. The Course has been sponsored by UNESCO and assigned to be carried out to the Carabinieri Corps. The Course has been attended by 20 trainees coming from various Institutions in charge to preserve the National Cultural Heritage in their own countries. The 1st Course for the Protection of the Cultural Heritage The countries' representatives were from some African countries like Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal and Zimbabwe. The specialists who have given the lectures, come from the most world famous organizations like UNESCO, ICCROM, UNIDROIT, INTERPOL and from Italian Government like the Ministry of the Cultural Heritage and Environmental Conservation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice and from international and Italian judiciary.
The course has been a good opportunity to share the different expertises and knowledge between lecturers and attendees. The trainees have also visited Venice ant its best museums.
