Vicenza, 30th of January 2009. Ms Theresa Whelan "U.S. Deputy
Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs" visited the
CoESPU. She performed the visit with the SETAF's Commander of
Vicenza Brigadier General William B.GARRET. Main purpose consisted
in knowing the activities of the centre. After a briefing hold by
the CoESPU's Deputy Director, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of
Defense came through the training area giving a look to the gym,
the firing shooting range and the "FATS". The event has given the
opportunity to demonstrate the high training standard reached by
the centre as well as its concrete operational
activities. |
