13th High Level Course/Middle
Management Ending Ceremony

The Carabinieri Deputy General Commander, Lieutenant General Elio
TOSCANO, attended the closing ceremony of the 13th High Level and
13th Middle Management Courses.The CoESPU's project has been
followed, since the years 2004-2005, by the Lieutenant General Elio
TOSCANO; the work in progress has been enhanced, through the time,
with an increased capability to fulfil the requirement described in
the G8 Sea Island's Summit Action Plan "Expanding Global Capability
for Peace". During the event a starring role has been played by the
coursists, Police officers and warrant officers from Cameroon,
Egypt, Jordan, India, Indonesia, Mali, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan,
Senegal, Serbia and Ukraine. Beside the Director, Maj General
Emilio BORGHINI attended the celebration, at the "CoESPU's
Headquarters Chinotto Barracks" in Vicenza, Mr. Michael KIDWELL on
behalf of US Department of State; Mr. Pascal CUFFAUT on behalf
Department of Peacekeeping Operations, as well as several CoESPU's
lectures and external contributors. The highlight has been the
handing over to the coursist of the diplomas and the UN
certifications at the end of the
event. |
