The 23rd of June 2008, participating Mr. Dimitri TITOV,
"Assistant Secretary General of Department of Peacekeeping
Operations", has opened the "Pre-Deployement Training Course for
Darfur".The course supported by UN has been developed to train
military personnel in sight for a deployment in Darfur - Sudan
region.The UN delegate after a briefing held by the CoESPU's
Director visited the CoESPU during its activities.The event has
given the opportunity to demonstrate the capability of the Center;
the high representative, has attended the classwork followed by the
students regarding the Peace Support Operations and a practical
lesson on "crowd riot control" and "Fire Fighting". At the end of
the day he has expressed his satisfaction and estimation for the
performed activities. |
